A Look Into Out To

Looking at all the one hundred one projects I created over the course of the summer I've come to a solid pin-point of what my art is primarily about:

I thank those individuals for who they are and for all the good they have done. I reinforce those good behaviors through positive interaction and incentive. My work looks at people and things and loves them for who they are.

I came to the conclusion from seeing what I was focusing on:

- Using figures (pugs, manatees, disfigured, obese) of the pathetic (pathos) and humility and showing their empowerment through their own personal traits
- Complexity is through uniqueness and truth, which is why I use multi-dimensional or full spectrum light splitting material (holographic, prism, animated hues, iridescent, etc.)
- Wisdom and Intuition win over Reason (not "why" or "what" but "is") (Mr. Rogers)

Summer has given me time to simplify and center on what my core values are and how those things direct my art.
