It's getting close to the end of the year and things are piling up and sideways and through things of stuff ways...?
Grad school has turned from something neato, to somethin neato awesome. I say this because I've finally gotten to the point where I can focus more on my own work than busywork (ie. learning how to use an Arduino, etc.) Finals are right now though so sleep is not an option.
This week was my first full on grad student critique of one of my pieces. It was easily decided that "computer racism" is a word that burns ears only because the wording is odd ^_^
I went down to Art Basel this year finally as an outsider rather than a local (note: best local documentation of Miami arts), which has its strange strings built into that factoid. The highlights were primarily seeing my fellow grads understandingly love Miami the way I do, drinking, and dancing; Dancing being my fave due to finally finding someone that enjoys it the way I do :)
Once finals are over, I have to get to finishing some software for my Utopia program at the school... It's in progress with alot of possibilities currently... Should be up at grad school gallery mid/late January 2012.
Today I also am finishing a collar for my dog which allows him to speak when looking up. Simple, but functional.
A quality note: read up on some of the best talent on the medium of software; all amazing and talented people interviewed
Looking forward to Christmas break to head back and see family/friends of the Miami type. Really craving embedding myself in Swedish stuff as well... don't know why.
