My recent move to Gainesville, FL to study my masters at University of Florida has been rough and a little bumpy, but very prospective. The town is definitely a different pace from what I've grown up with in Miami, but its a welcome change. I've basically converted from living in a nice hall with a roommate in Miami to no roommates and more space here in Gainesville. I'm currently looking for a pug to live with so its a little less lonely here since I know pretty much nobody here yet :P
I'm also very glad that Autodesk has allowed free use of most their software to students ^_^
I just started messing with Adobe Edge Preview (pictured at top), Adobe's interface for making HTML5 stuff. So far I like it largely due to its similarity to running like After Effects. It still has a long ways to go bu so far no complaints at all.
Besides that, my semester starts in roughly 2-3 weeks so I have time to ease into things. Next thing on my list is to learn some more programming tricks and get a girlfriend to make my place look a bit better <3
